Otto Aviation

Being an employee at Sector 5 Digital, I had the opportunity to help design a new exterior and interior jetliner for Otto Aviation. Otto is an aviation manufacturer in the field of private jets. They were founded in 2008 and broke news in 2018 with the Celera 500L. The Celera 500L became groundbreaking with its Laminar flow design, which allows quick and affordable private flying for business. My assignment, along working with my director, was to take the current Celera aircraft and redesign both exterior and interior. This took months of work. Working both with engineers and heads at Otto. The following is a showing of the work we achieved in redesigning the new Celera. Here is my work in designing, modeling, texture, lighting and rendering.

Along with working to redesign both the interior and exterior of the Celera, I was also assigned to create a launch for marketing. We didn't want to reveal too much of the design and so a lot of dark and spot lighting was used. The following are renders of the tease from different sides. It was all launched on their site and still remains.

Process
This was an incredible experience to be a part of. Working with both the engineers and the head directors at Otto, I learned much more about aircraft design.  I'd like to share my process and renders of the interior seat designs, which I took much inspiration from both sports cars and high-end jets. Finally, I'll share wireframe and light positions on both the exterior and the interior. All of this was designed and rendered in 3ds Max with Vray engine.
